Ray Bower has been practicing law for over 25 years. He received a BA in Chemistry with a minor in Computer Science. He was graduated as an American Chemical Society Certified Chemist. He received his JD, cum laude, and was on the Executive Board of the Law Review as Research Editor. He was also a recipient of the prestigious American Juris Prudence Award. Ray also received his MS in Molecular & Cell Biology with Distinction and the Academic Excellence Award with High Honors.

Ray worked for AT&T Family of Companies for over 30 years in legal, information technology, and project management related positions. He is registered to practice in Patent Cases before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Connecticut. He is a member of the New Haven and Connecticut Bar Associations and has been involved in numerous community activities throughout his career including performing pro bono legal representation on a variety of legal matters. He also served on the Guilford Planning and Zoning Commission as Chairman and on the Branford Zoning Board of Appeals. He currently serves on the Guilford Pension Committee.

Ray is a FCC licensed Amateur Radio Operator. He also holds an FAA issued Pilots license and hold his Instrument Rating.
